Spending the first half of life in Cincinnati, Deb was fascinated by the beauty in the works of Sorolla, Sargent, and Duveneck at the Taft Museum. She received a scholarship to the Baker Hunt Foundation and studied art there as well as in public school and always wanted to be an artist.
Learning to appreciate the gift of life even more as an RN and nursing instructor for many years, she has not given up the pursuit of excellence in art. She is part of the Garden Artists, and Plein Air Artists of Colorado groups, and is still studying/painting with many other accomplished artists. Her goal in life is to walk in beauty and share the joy with others. She paints on location in water soluble oils and spends most of her time outdoors in the splendor of Colorado landscapes.
