Y22 Beyond Young Masters: New Perspectives in Drawing

Take your drawing skills to new heights. Use the elements of art: line, shape, texture, color and value, and the principals of design to create exciting and dynamic compositions. We’ll explore self-portraits, landscapes, nature studies, and abstract art. Artists Picasso, Matisse, and other contemporary artists looked at nature and the objects around them and found new perspectives which they expressed in their drawings. Find inspiration from these masters and a visit to the Fine Arts Center galleries. Use graphite, charcoal, pencils, and pastels in new ways to create original works.
