VA44 Virtual: Art for Social Justice

***Registration for this course is now closed.***

Artists are the recorders of history and events: those happening now and those in the future. The past year brought about changes to our society that uncovered truths that were hidden and are now starting to be revealed. Truths that were previously only visible to some are now visible to many, many more than before. This course is about creating art that centers around social justice and using it to complete the narrative created by social injustice.

Level III – This class is for those who have significant experience in the medium – two or more classes or a year or more of experience.

Virtual course – students will be provided with the Zoom link prior to the first class. Zoom video conferencing platform
