P1 Black & White Film Photography

Step into the darkroom to explore silver-process black-and-white photography. You’ll learn how to process film and make handcrafted gelatin-silver prints from your negatives while gaining a better understanding of light, exposure, composition, and camera techniques. Topics covered in this course include: basic camera operation, film developing procedures, and steps/methods for making a fine print. A number of printing techniques will be covered, including how to determine optimum print exposure time, and controlling contrast.
