AY42 Beading Around the World

Explore the many bead weaving techniques from around the world using an assortment of seed beads, thread, and a needle. Combine contemporary ideas and materials with traditional methods. Learn about Zulu, Ecuadorian, and Native American bead weaving stitches. Projects include a Zulu love letter pen, an Ecuadorian netted necklace, and a peyote bracelet. There is a $25 materials fee payable to the instructor on the first day of class for beading materials.
