A89 Beading Around the World
Explore a few of the many bead weaving techniques from around the world using an assortment of seed beads, thread, and a needle. Learn to combine contemporary ideas and materials with traditional methods. You’ll learn about Zulu, Ecuadorian and American Indian bead weaving stitches. Projects include a Zulu-inspired love letter pen, an Ecuadorian style netted necklace, and a Peyote bracelet. There is a $25 materials fee payable to the instructor on the first day of class for beading materials.
