A79 Stone Mold Making and Latex Casting

Level A – All levels welcome.

In this course we will explore the fundamentals of mold making and casting! Together we will encapsulate a simple sculpture in a two-part stone mold. We will then use this mold to cast an exact replica of your sculpture in liquid latex. By the end of this course, you will leave with a two-part mold as well as a delightfully squishy friend, created by you. Be prepared to use all parts of your creative mind in this multidisciplinary art. Please make a note of any allergies to latex in the comment section while registering. There is a material fee of $60 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
