A78 Navajo Weaving Techniques

Walk in beauty with Navajo weaving! Weave a small rug using traditional Navajo tools and techniques. Learn the method that Navajo weavers use to create their splendid tapestries. Introduction to the washing, carding, spinning, and dyeing of wool will also be included. We’ll discuss stories and traditions as it applies to weaving. Analysis of design and color will enhance your understanding and appreciation of this beautiful art form.
