Level III – This class is for those who have significant experience in the medium – two or more classes or a year or more of experience.

Go from throwing small to throwing big! Create a tall thrown sculptural jar by stacking multiple smaller segments together. You will learn to connect two to three six- to eight-inch-tall thrown cylinders to build a jar. Once the jar and lid are thrown, modify the form through the addition of textured slabs to create sculptural elements. Explore the possibility of carving and/or sgraffito decoration. Glazing textured tall forms will be taught.
