A76 Painting with Encaustic

Experience first-hand a vast array of mixed media techniques using encaustic (a natural-based paint made with beeswax, pure pigments and tree resin). Beginner or experienced, non-painters and painters alike (from abstract to realism) are invited to enjoy this fun, easy art form in the “hottest” new medium. An optional materials list is provided, but all you need to bring is your playful spirit and an enthusiasm for experimentation, spontaneity, and surprise! There is a $20 materials fee payable to the instructor on the day of class for supplies. Register for both A76 and A77 sessions for maximum exposure!
