A70 Beginner Gold Leafing

Have you ever finished a piece and felt like something was missing? Maybe it needs a little razzle dazzle! You will learn about the history of gold leafing, how to prepare surfaces and pieces for gold, and then the actual process of leafing. You will learn how to use sizing adhesive, apply leaf, burnish, and seal it all. You will leave with extra materials, a “final project,” and enough experience to experiment on your own!

Level 0 – This class is for the true beginner with no prior experience in the medium.
