A49 Dynamic Still Lifes in Oil

Level I – This class is for those with some familiarity with the medium. This could include informal use of medium outside of the classroom.

This course is for the oil painter who has a little bit of experience under their belt, feels comfortable with still lifes, and wants to transition from ‘okay’ paintings to ‘DYNAMIC’ paintings! Each week we will tackle an unconventional still life set up with interesting or weird lighting. You will also learn how to make the most boring subjects far more interesting, with composition, color, and value-building techniques.
