A44 The Colors of Snow

Snow is one of the most dramatic subjects to paint in watercolor. Learn to create luminosity and glowing qualities using the white of your paper. Experiment with atmospheric techniques and bold color to define shapes and contours. We will combine simple methods such as glazing, mingling, salt, and glass glitter texture for spontaneous surprises. Painting snow will never be cold or boring again.
