A41 Enameling: Equinox

Level 0 – This class is for the true beginner with no prior experience in the medium.

Celebrate the spring equinox by trying something new and experimenting with unique material pairings! In this class we will be working withglass fused to copper at high heat. You’ll learn to clean copper, apply layers of transparent and opaque powdered glass, and consider how copper and glass behave when fired together. We’ll make small pieces inspired by the balance of light and dark and the coming of spring. There is a material fee of $20 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
