A37 Painting with Encaustic

Experience first-hand an array of mixed media techniques using encaustic (a natural-based paint made with beeswax, pure pigments, and tree resin). Beginner or experienced, non-painters and painters alike (from abstract to realism) are invited to enjoy this fun and easy art form in the “hottest” new medium. An optional materials list is provided, but all you need to bring is your playful spirit and an enthusiasm for experimentation, spontaneity, and surprise! There is a $20 materials fee payable to the instructor on the day of class for all supplies. You may register for both Saturday and Sunday sessions for maximum exposure.
