A30 Plein Air Pastel Drawing: Architecture Focus

What could be better than fall colors, being outdoors, and making art? We will start in the studio, then drive a short distance from CC’s campus to explore and draw the interesting architecture of historic homes. Composition, options on methods to develop drawings, and the use of pastel chalk will be presented, as well as a brief discussion on perspective drawing. Our sessions will present a range of light to complete at least three drawings Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, and Saturday afternoon.
Level I – This class is for those with some familiarity with the medium. This could include informal use of the medium outside of the classroom.
