A27 Plein Air Painting: Keep It Simple

Have you always wanted to learn to paint on location, in the great outdoors? The key to this is learning how to simplify what you see. Strong paintings in the field require the elimination of detail and the ability to capture light. Learn how to bring light and texture into your paintings in a fun and supportive learning environment. Please note that this class level is for those with some experience in oil painting. This is a community course with up to 9 community members, socially distanced and outdoors.
This course is part of City as a Venue programming, a summer long celebration presenting a robust and diverse calendar of outdoor, mobile and socially distanced arts experiences to the community.
Registration for this course implies acknowledgement and adherence to COVID-19 precautions outlined on the Fine Arts Center visit guideline webpage to participate in in-person courses and workshops.
