A65 Jewelry Design and Production
Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.
Join us for an exciting exploration of advanced jewelry design! In this workshop, we will delve into the intricate world of wax modeling and lost-wax casting, allowing you to create stunning pieces of jewelry from start to finish. You will learn essential techniques for designing intricate patterns and shapes in wax, setting the stage for beautiful castings. Discover a range of production techniques, including tool selection and usage, to ensure you feel confident in your craftsmanship. You will gain insight into the investment process, where we discuss materials and equipment that can enhance your jewelry-making practice.
Casting will be at a downtown Colorado Springs studio location.
