A82 Gourd Sugar Skull
Level A – All levels welcome.
You are invited to explore the vibrant tradition of Day of the Dead annual celebration, a way to honor loved ones who have passed, often with a display in a home called an ofrenda. Learn the history and culture of the celebration while you transform a gourd as a natural canvas into a symbol of remembrance. When gourds dry, they are like wood and will last forever. Create your own sugar skull using a gourd, acrylic paint, and your own creative flair. There is a material fee of $20 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
