A29 From Old to New

Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.

Experience a wheel throwing class that enhances what you already know. Throw something old and then create something new from that form. Throw a vase then modify the rim to make it something new. Make a plate or a bowl and stamp textures or modify the rim or shape. Try an upside-down box thrown on the wheel then finish it off with handbuilding techniques. You will surprise yourself!
