A53 Eco Printing

Level A – All levels welcome.

We will explore the basic process of Eco printing, or printing fabric with leaves and flowers, from preparation to final product. We will explore different mordants and mordanting techniques on a variety of fabrics. We will also delve into which plants and flowers print and how they print on the various fabrics. You will walk away with samples and mordanted fabric to continue your exploration and experimentation at home. There will be a 30-minute lunch break, so please bring food and drink. There is a material fee of $30 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
