A60 Animal Tiles in Glass on Metal

Level 0 – This class is for the true beginner with no prior experience in the medium.

Try out the colorful medium of enameling (glass fused to metal at high heat) by sifting powdered glass through stencils to create decorative animal tiles on copper and thin steel. This workshop introduces the use of brilliant, durable transparent and opaque enamels and how they can be combined in simple designs as well as potentials for endless variations. You will leave with several enameled tiles that can be hung separately or mounted together. There is a material fee of $20 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
